If it has to convince you it’s healthy, it probably isn’t. Just as if someone has to convince you they’re religious, they’re probably not.

Go for the natural power foods like almonds, avocados, celery + PB, boiled eggs, most berries, and steamed broccoli (just throw some EVOO on it with a few herbs). This is my usual snack list that I nibble on between meals. 

They may seem boring but they’re foundational foods and ones that are mentioned over and over again for a reason!

Mexican night can be healthy too! Grab some corn tortillas, cook lean ground turkey, and mix together black beans, corn, red pepper, cilantro and lime juice for a salsa topping!

Cilantro Chickpea Lime Salad!

To just put this into perspective for you guys, 1 Gallon = 3.79 Liters

That means miss Coke’n Carla (random name) was drinking roughly 2.6 gallons of coke A DAY!

Those of you additionally curious, yes….that’s 281 grams of sugar per day from her drinking habits alone. 

This excludes any of her actual dietary intake, which we can assume didn’t consist of the healthiest options available.

As us fitness professionals like to say, “Everything In Moderation!”

Frozen Fruit Pops!
So for these awesome pops:
Take any fruit of your choice, slicing it very thin
Arrange and place the inside a typical popsicle container
Then pour some juice inside to fill in the spaces and glue together the fruit
Place in the freezer, let it freeze and then enjoy!
Hot summer days are already on us so make this one of your go-to desserts!

Apple PB & Choco Chip Sandwich!
Another amazing snack! Quick & health yet again :)
Take and decore 1 apple
Lay apple on it’s side and cut roughly 1/4 inch slices (you can have them thicker if you prefer!)
Lather peanut butter on one slice, drizzle a few chocolate chips, place the 2nd slice on top and presto!
You now have an amazing and very easy snack (or meal!)

The perfect dessert! Or snack if you wish ;P 
Shave off the top of the strawberry, removing the stem and leaves. 
Then dip them in yogurt (flavored greek yogurt or something similar), placing on a tray. Don’t bunch them up in a bag! Or it will look like a hobbit hill of yogurt :D
Put them in the freezer and in a matter of time, you have yourself frozen bite-sized yogurt covered strawberries!

A very healthy lunch option! Lettuce wraps with sliced cucumber, turkey and hummus.
